Modern Cruise Guide exists because the luxury small-ship cruise category has been quietly reinvented — and most of the writing about it hasn't kept up.
We cover Explora Journeys, Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, Four Seasons Yachts, Virgin Voyages, and a handful of other lines that we believe are genuinely redefining what a cruise can be. We write for the traveler who loves boutique hotels, avoids megaships, and has always assumed that cruising wasn't for them.
Our reviews are honest. We say when something isn't right for a particular type of traveler, when a product overpromises, and when the price isn't justified. We don't accept cruise line advertising or sponsored content.
